It's a worldwide phenomenon. Every time a new game is released it seems to automatically gain millions of registered players. I consider myself a hard core gamer and didn't really know what all the fuss was about. Then my wife started to play a couple of them and I thought I would give it a go as well.
After a bit of dabbling I was finally able to see what all the fuss is about. Not everyone is like me and have the desire to spend hours at a time playing the latest, greatest First Person Shooter. Some citizens just want to have a quick play over a cup of coffee and stay in touch with their friends. This is the sort of games players that these types of games are aimed at.
I now play a few as a regular patron and find it a great change from the usually intense gaming sessions that I'm used to. I tend to stay in the Virtual World style games such as FarmVille, Fishville and now the new Social City and would like to share a few of the tips and tricks that I have discovered along the way.
